The Great Southern Football League (GSFL) resumes this Saturday (17/7) following the SA Country Football Championships which were held at Victor Harbor and Encounter Bay last weekend. There are just six rounds left before finals begin on the 28th of August. Mount Compass, Langhorne Creek and Willunga have been the standout teams through the first 12 rounds with McLaren, Strathalbyn and Encounter Bay all vying for the remaining two spots in the top-five. The match-of-the-day in round 13 sees McLaren hosting Langhorne Creek. A win to McLaren would see them keep the pressure on for a top-three spot, while the three-time reigning premiers in Langhorne Creek will be looking to consolidate the double chance and keep the pressure on ladder-leader Mount Compass.
Ladder after Round 12
Mount Compass 22, Langhorne Creek 21, Willunga 19, McLaren 16, Strathalbyn 14, Encounter Bay 12, Goolwa/Port Elliot 6, Yankalilla 6, Myponga/Sellicks 2, Victor Harbor 2.
Round 13 Fixtures (home team named first)
