Alexandrina Council has launched its Rural Living Handbook, providing an essential guide for people moving into the district, or considering such a move.
The handbook provides important details about what to expect from life in a rural area, how to be part of a resilient and thriving community and it outlines responsibilities as a rural property owner.
The project was initiated by the Alexandrina Sustainable Agricultural Round Table (ASART), a group of leading local industry representatives and agribusinesses.
It provides links to useful local services in the region - such as waste and recycling, planning and community safety - for those making the transition to rural living in Alexandrina.
