The Department for Housing and Urban Development is proposing to realign the suburb boundaries of Port Noarlunga and Noarlunga Downs and is asking for community feedback.

The proposal is to adjust the boundary between Port Noarlunga and Noarlunga Downs to include part of Noarlunga Downs within Port Noarlunga. 

This change would align the boundary with a future housing development site and may result in address changes for affected residents and businesses. 

Renewal SA will redevelop the site as a residential community featuring a large-scale housing project.

It says the change will create a clearer and more logical boundary resolving the current issue where the existing boundary diagonally intersects the site.

An opportunity to give feedback will remain open until Monday 1 December.
