Community consultation has opened on South Australia’s road safety strategy to 2031 and road users across the Fleurieu are encouraged to have their say.
The Department for Infrastructure and Transport, on behalf of the state government, has developed a draft strategy with input from communities, stakeholders and road users across the state.
It is intended to save lives, reduce serious injuries and create safer communities.
The draft strategy contains principles that underpin road safety decision making and nine strategic priorities.
Every person in South Australia is a road user. Whether you drive, ride, are a pedestrian or a passenger, this is an opportunity to provide feedback to guide the state’s focus for the next decade.
All input is important and will contribute to the final strategy. Have a say by completing the online survey.
Consultation closes 5pm Wednesday 1 September. General enquiries can be made by email.
