The Bureau of Meteorology has updated the Flood Watch for parts of South Australia, including Kangaroo Island and the Fleurieu Peninsula, with heavy rain forecast.
That rain is expected to extend south on Friday and over the weekend, which could lead to rising river and creek levels and localised flooding.
“A slow moving low pressure system over southern Northern Territory extending a trough into the northeast of Southern Australia is forecast to continue producing widespread moderate to heavy rainfall across the Flood Watch area over the next few days, with locally intense falls possible.”
