Help for flood-affected businesses

Rural Business Support (RBS) is offering free financial counselling and support to small businesses impacted by the current flooding crisis along the Murray River.

In partnership with the South Australian government, disaster funding is also available across nine affected local government areas, including Alexandrina Council.

RBS can help small and family business owners to develop emergency and recovery/continuity action plans.

It can also help to manage their financial wellbeing as they recover and rebuild once flood waters have receded.

RBS is an organisation committed to building a profitable, sustainable and resilient rural sector by supporting businesses, farmers, landowners and communities in rural and regional South Australia and the Northern Territory.

Find out more on the RBS website or call 1800 836 211.

SA Health is also offering telephone and online counselling through its Regional Access Program for River Murray Flood Mental Health Support.

Regional Access offers free professional telephone and online counselling 24 hours a day, seven days a week for people 15 years and older living or working in regional South Australia.

They can be accessed by telephone: 1300 032 186 and online
