The City of Victor Harbor has begun community consultation on a plan that will help shape the future of Victor Harbor over the next 10 years.

The plan will play an important role in influencing how council responds to the challenges and opportunities of the future to make sure Victor Harbor remains a great place to live, work, visit and invest in.

Drawing on community conversations and other research, the council has prepared a set of aspirations that express what it wants Victor Harbor to become.

It has also identified strategies to help achieve these aspirations.

Now it’s time to check if the draft aspirations and strategies reflect the community's priorities, and find out if there is anything that has been missed. 

Council wants to know what projects, initiatives and actions the community thinks it needs to undertake to achieve its aspirations.

There are a number of ways you can get involved and help shape Victor Harbor's future.

• Complete an online survey. 

• Attend a community drop-in session at the Victor Harbor Town Hall, in Coral Street, Victor Harbor, on Wednesday, 12 February between 12noon-2pm or 5pm-7pm.

• Send your thoughts in writing via email to [email protected] or post to PO Box 11, Victor Harbor SA 5211.

• Download a Conversation Kit and host your own conversation with family, friends or a group you belong to. 

• Request a presentation from Council by emailing [email protected] or call 8551 0500.

The consultation will close at 5pm on Friday, 14 February.
