Victor Harbor library will celebrate National Science Week with a special event looking at all things caterpillars and butterflies next Friday 16 August.
Butterflies are not only lovely to look at, they are also important for the environment. Find out how to attract them to the garden.
Independent artist Rosina and Gerry from Butterfly Conservation South Australia will lead an all-ages virtual reality (VR) experience that shows the life of these insects.
It will focus on the Chequered Copper butterfly and how it works with ants for mutual benefit.
VR headsets will be used during this free presentation, which is suitable for children and adults.
There are two sessions available - 3pm to 3.45pm and 4pm to 4.45pm. Register online to attend.
National Science Week runs from 10 to 18 August.
