At approximately 9.15 am this morning, six CFS and two MFS crews were called to a house fire on Ratcliffe Road in Aldinga Beach.

On arrival crews found smoke coming from the roof of the building. The fire has been contained with substantial damage to the primary house estimating a cost of $300,000. Firefighters have saved the majority of the adjoining house and neighbouring properties.

All occupants were able to leave the property safely and currently, there are no injuries reported. Fire cause investigators have attended the scene along with SA Police, SA Ambulance and SA Power Networks.

Firefighters will remain on scene into this afternoon.
