Nine CFS appliances attended a house fire on Huntingdale Drive in Normanville last night, Sunday 16 July.

The three-story house was completely engulfed in flames, with firefighters managing to get the blaze under control, saving neighbouring properties.

At least two residents and a dog had to evacuate the home with one occupant taken to hospital.

Crews remained on scene into the morning to finish extinguishing the blaze and ensure the scene is safe.

The cause is currently unknown with Fire Cause Investigators attending the scene. SA Police, SA Ambulance and SA State Emergency Services are also on scene.

Damage is estimated at $1.3 million.
