A house on Hindmarsh Island was partially destroyed by fire yesterday afternoon, Wednesday 9 November.
Three CFS trucks with 20 firefighters attended the scene just before 2pm.
They found one part of the house on fire; no-one was at home at the time.
Assisted by the SA Metropolitan Fire Service, the CFS managed to save the newer part of the house.
They estimate that approximately $150,000 damage was done to the older part of the house.
The cause has not yet been identified.
