Police are investigating a house fire in the southern suburbs early this morning.

Just after 4am on Friday 11 August, emergency services were called to Deck Crescent following reports of flames coming from a front bedroom window.

Fire crews were quickly on scene and extinguished the blaze, containing the damage to the front of the house.

Crime Scene Investigators are on scene to determine the cause of the fire.
