Victor Harbor may grow further if a new suburb results from the sale of agricultural land on the outskirts of the town.

The two allotments, on Victor Harbor Road at Hindmarsh Valley, total 63.1 hectares.

They have been offered for sale by Expression of Interest by selling agents JLL.

It describes Victor Harbor as the largest population centre on the Fleurieu Peninsula and one of the fastest growing council areas in the state.

“This is an opportunity to deliver a high quality master planned residential estate together with complementary, first class amenities.”

Allotments 31 and 32 Victor Harbor Road form two land titles at the corner of Welch Road.

The JLL website says the site has been appropriately zoned and suitable for development of a master planned residential estate.

The Expression of Interest period closes 4pm Thursday 17 November.
