Yankalilla Library will host a community talk on Friday 21 June on the important work of the Women's Information Service (WIS).
This long-valued support and referral service for South Australian women provides information online, in person and over the phone to give choice and empowerment.
It covers topic as diverse as family life and relationships; violence, sexual assault and safety; health and wellbeing; housing and homelessness; finances; support groups and events; and education, training and career paths.
Presented by the Women's Information Service Outreach, Goolwa Haven, the free session will discuss how and why WIS helps women across the state.
It will run from 10am to 12noon and everyone is welcome to stay on for a cuppa; reserve a place via Humanitix.
