The annual Judith's Legacy walk will be on this Sunday 25 February in the Willunga Rose Garden.
Judith's Legacy raises awareness and funds for ovarian cancer research.
It was created by Aldinga resident Dean Rowe, in memory of his beloved wife Judith, who died of ovarian cancer on 8 March 2017.
Dean says Judith's Legacy has raised more than $100,000 since then, which has been donated to the Cancer Council SA.
He recently turned 90, but Dean still works tirelessly year-round for the cause so close to his heart, supported by many local businesses and people in the community.
This year sees the seventh Judith’s Walk, held on what would have been her 89th birthday.
Starting at 7am in the Willunga Rose Garden, the walk proceeds along the Shiraz trail to McLaren Vale, with a coach returning walkers to the garden.
Entry costs $25, which includes a water bottle and raffle tickets; a coffee van will be on hand at the start.
