Kangarilla started their 2021 Southern Hills Netball Association (SHNA) campaign with an upset 35-34 win over reigning premier Pulse yesterday in the Grand Final rematch from last season. In other games, newly promoted teams Croweaters and Seaford Storm clashed with Croweaters winning 58-44. In the final game of round one, Clarendon had a convincing 57-31 victory over McLaren Flat.
In the A2 competition, McLaren Flat defeated Clarendon 42-41, Valley Vikings triumphed 30-25 against Port Noarlunga while Noarlunga had a convincing 53-21 win over Southern Stars.
