The Secretary of the Kangaroo Island Football League (KIFL), Catherine Tydeman, has released the following statement regarding the 2020 season.....

The KIFL last night made the decision to put the remaining years focus on its juniors and withdraw any senior competition. Clubs have been asked to go out to their communities to gauge commitment to a proposed 2 round competition for Colts and U12, we continue to await further advice on Auskick. The decision was made bearing in mind the need for some certainty for players, impact of compliance on clubs and volunteers and being able to focus in on the important youth factor in our community and do that well. We trust that the community and our clubs are supportive and understanding of this decision.
