Kangaroo Island Council is reviewing its Memorial Policy and wants to hear from the community.

At present the policy only allows Memorial Seats and Roadside Memorials, but the council wants to check if community  views have changed.

It  is asking for feedback on whether seats should stay the main option, or if other memorials – such as trees, sculptures, or garden beds - should be considered.

Other topics for consideration include where memorials should or should not be located and how to manage existing seats as they age.

An online survey, which council says takes just a few minutes to complete, closes at 5pm on Thursday 24 April 2.
