Kangaroo Island council is consulting the community on the future use of land it manages.

The council has proposed changes to several of its Community Land Management Plans. 

The management plans set out how the council uses and manages a particular area of community land for the betterment and enjoyment of the community.

The five plans earmarked for an update are:

• Parndana Golf Course
• Duck Lagoon Reserve
• Birchmore Hall and Sporting Complex Reserve
• Frenchman’s Rock Historical Reserve
• Lloyd Collins Reserve and Penneshaw Beach Foreshore Reserve

Printed copies of the plans are available for inspection or purchase at the council’s Kingscote Office or can be viewed online by clicking on the relevant link.

The public consultation period closes at 5pm on Wednesday 11 January.

The community can provide feedback on the proposed changes in person at the council’s Kingscote office or at the Penneshaw Community Business Centre.
