Kingscote keep the pressure on in the Kangaroo Island Football League

Kingscote won their fourth game of the season to remain in the hunt for a top-two spot, after defeating Parndana by 40 points during round 10 action in the Kangaroo Island Football League (KIFL) yesterday. The final score was Kingscote 15.5 (95) to Parndana 8.7 (55). Lachlan Ingerson kicked four goals for Kingscote, while James Davis also kicked four goals for Parndana. Best players for Kingscote were Ingerson, Rory Lovering, Jordan Connell, Karim Hadland and Stephen Summers. Parndana were best served by Zach Trethewey, Bailey Mashford, Trad McMulkin, Matthew Kelly and Davis. 


Western Districts have all but sewn up the minor premiership following their huge 163-point win against Dudley United at Penneshaw. The Saints kicked a whopping 28.18 (186) to the Eagles’ 3.5 (23). Western Districts had 10 different goalkickers with Josh Graham (7), Jack Favilla (4) and Travis Hilder (4) leading the way. Clayton Willson kicked two goals for Dudley United. Best players for the Saints were Tim Larcombe, Tate Barrett, Favilla, Brad Crabb and Jake Nolan. Best for Dudley United included Zak Keir, Sam McLeay and Hugo Sharkey.
