Police are investigating a fire at a Kingscote property last night (Thursday September 21).

Police and fire crews were called to the premises on Dauncey Street, Kingscote, just before 7pm on Thursday 21 September, after reports of fire coming from the building.

CFS crews attended and extinguished the blaze which completely gutted the speciality store.  There were no reports of injuries.

Police Fire Investigators will be travelling to the Island this morning to determine the cause of the fire.
