Kingscote had a big 59-29 win against reigning premier Western Districts to start their Kangaroo Island Netball Association (KINA) season in style yesterday. In the other game of round 1, Dudley United defeated Wisanger 43-28 at Penneshaw. 

Parndana had the bye.
