With winter well and truly here, many thoughts turn to warm jumpers, gloves and scarves.

Anyone interested on creating their own winter warmers can attend a free workshop on Friday 18 July at either Goolwa or Strathalbyn library to learn how to knit.

Learn the relaxing, rewarding art of knitting in a fun and welcoming workshop designed especially for beginners.

Knitting needles, wool, and step-by-step guidance will be provided to learn basic stitches and techniques.

No experience is necessary—just take hands and creativity to be a part of Firstival – trying out new things in the library.

The Goolwa session is at 10am to 11.30am. Book via Eventbrite. The Strathalbyn session is from2pm to 3.30pm. Book via Eventbrite.

Both sessions are suitable for children aged 10+ and young adults who are ready to try something new, meet others, and pick up a timeless craft.
