Many have moved by the plight of koalas in the wake of recent devastating bushfires around Australia.

Hartley Head, from the Adelaide and Hills Koala Rescue Group, will give a talk on koala rescue on Saturday 7 March at the Openlight Campsite Hall in Victor Harbor.

Find out about how koalas and their habitat have been impacted by the fires and what can be done to help.

The Inman River Catchment Landcare Group will host the free session, which starts at 1pm, in association with the South Coast Environment Centre.

There will be time for questions after the presentation and a collection will be taken to support the group’s work.

For catering purposes RSVP to the Inman River Catchment Landcare Group by 1 March on 8552 7197 or 8552 4952.

The Openlight Campsite, formerly known as Toc H, is at 54 Waggon Road, Victor Harbor.
