The CFS is actively monitoring a mulch fire in Langhorne Creek on the Fleurieu Peninsula, South Australia.
There is a current Advice message for this incident.
CFS volunteers on 10 trucks attended the scene in the early hours of this morning and have since handed responsibility back to site management.
The fire is currently burning in a large pile of mulch and is expected to produce smoke for some days.
The smoke is impacting roads in the area, and visibility may be reduced. Please drive to the conditions. To ensure your safety and that of other personnel working in the area, please exercise caution when entering the area.
The CFS can confirm three machines have been impacted by the fire with an estimated damage bill of $3 Million.
