There is still time to enter the Langhorne Creek Photography competition, with entries closing Sunday 24 January.
The vineyards, wine, culture, landscapes and nature of the region have inspired the competition.
It provides a platform for photographers to spend time in the region, showcase their work and share their experiences.
Entrants are encouraged to submit images that highlight Langhorne Creek as a unique Australian wine producing area.
The major prize is $1000, with a mixed dozen of Langhorne Creek wines going to second and third placegetters.
The People’s Choice winner will receive a mixed dozen of Langhorne Creek wines and a Fleurieu Chocolate Company bundle.
Online voting for the People’s Choice runs between 25 January and 26 March; the top three prizewinners will be notified 30 January.
A shortlist of entries will be displayed around Langhorne Creek venues from 15 February to 26 March.
Langhorne Creek Grape and Wine organises the competition and Alexandrina Council sponsors it.
Entrants must be over 18 and can submit up to three entries. Images can be taken with either a camera or an iPhone as long as they meet resolution and size requirements.
Full details of how to submit entries, vote for entries and the terms and conditions are online.
