The next workshop in Victor Harbor library’s Sow. Grow. Eat. Repeat! Series looks at Knowing, Growing & Eating Local Australian Native Food.
This first workshop for the new year will be held at the library next Saturday 7 January from 10.30am to 11.30am.
Get to know what native edibles grow locally, how to grow them, and taste the unique ancient foods grown on Ngarrindjeri Ruwe.
In season native food includes muntries, native juniper berry, sweet appleberry, saltbush berries, native beard heath berries, native rocket, native celery, native rivermint, pigface and wattleseed.
Fresh samples and teas will be available to taste and Neville Bonney's books and native seeds will be for sale.
The workshop is free, but registration is essential via Eventbrite.
