Alexandrina Council will hold a tendering workshop for businesses and individuals interested in working with local government.

It will be held on Tuesday 30 March from 3-5pm at Strathalbyn Library.

The council says it has a pipeline of significant projects coming online over the coming six months and is committed to supporting local business and local job creation.

Procuring local ‘value for money’ services is a high priority and so is offering a special program of workshops to support local business prepare to tender and give the best chance of winning the work.

The tendering workshop for contractors, consultants and suppliers aims to provide interested businesses with a better understanding of how to access opportunities and the requirements of responding to Request for Tenders with Council.

It will include a one-hour Tendering Essentials Session and a one-hour Tendering Advanced Session.
