Fleurieu libraries and councils have been transferring their usual activities and events online to help keep kids entertained.
Council websites, Facebook pages and YouTube have been employed for story time and classes in art and drama.
Victor Harbor library has so far put its Encounter Rhyme and Storytime online, as well as Baby Bounce.
Children’s librarian Gabbie reads I’ve broken my Bum!, by Dawn McMillan and Ross Kinnaird and Backyard, by Ananda Braxton-Smith and Lizzy Newcombe.
She leads children through all the fun things they can do with their imagination and a tray and invites them to join in and share their ideas.
She also introduces Soup the turtle and some friendly yabbies.

The City of Onkaparinga offers a series of school holiday activities online, replacing the events it would usually stage.
These include activity packs; Shakespeare Selfies, guided by a drama teacher; Lo-fi animation; and anatomical drawing classes.
