Southern Vales Compassionate Communities (SVCC) will host Life and Death Conversations at its Death Café event in Willunga on Wednesday 8 November.
A Death Cafe is a place to gather over a cup of tea and a light snack to discuss death and dying, with no particular agenda in mind.
It provides the opportunity to talk about life and death in a safe and inviting space within the community.

This free community event will be held at Waverley Park Homestead form 6pm to 9pm. Bookings are essential; reserve a place via Eventbrite.
SVCC will also host a free screening of the movie Live the Life You Please at McLaren Vale Institute Hall on Saturday 2 December.
It looks at palliative care in Australia from the perspective of medical professionals, patients and their families, in an intimate portrait of the end of life experience.
The event starts at 6.45pm and includes a post movie Q & A session, finishing around 9.30pm. Book via Humanitix.
