Many people are gearing up for a winter celebration of Christmas in July, but the Goolwa Community Association is planning ahead for warmer days and the main event.

The Goolwa Christmas Lights and Lantern Flotilla will be held on Saturday 20 December and the Association is calling on all boat lovers in the community to join in.

It wants to launch a brand-new festive tradition in Goolwa, with decorated boats illuminating the river with lights and lanterns, celebrating the season in true coastal style. 

The first-ever Christmas Flotilla will end pageant day in a magical fashion with lights on the water to celebrate the season in a night to remember.
