A very local art exhibition will open tomday, Sunday 8 January, at the South Coast Regional Art Centre.
‘Sgeidse’ is a solo exhibition by Deborah Smalley, based on the based on the Little Scotland area of Goolwa.
“I'm constantly inspired to draw with ink pen and then enliven it with arresting watercolour, “ Deborah says.
“This sketching life of mine began just a few years ago as I wandered the quiet lanes of Goolwa and marvelled at the beautiful and also at the imperfect.
“With my exhibition Sgeidse (Gaelic for sketch) I both celebrate and document these historic delights found in Little Scotland."
South Coast Regional Art Centre, on Goolwa Terrace, is open Wednesday to Friday 11am to 4pm; Saturday to Sunday 10am to 4pm.
The exhibition will run until Sunday 29 January.
