Kalyra McLaren Vale Village will host a movie screening, Live the Life You Please, on Wednesday 14 May.
The 30 minute film is part of a campaign aims to improve awareness about palliative care and advocate for increased access to essential palliative care and related health care services in Australia.
Stories told by medical professionals, patients and families provide an intimate look at the end of life experience, aiming to help start important conversations about how it can be improved for everyone.
Organised by Compassionate Communities, the screening will be followed by a Q&A panel with experts in the field.
Doors to the community hall open at 3pm; refreshments will be available for a gold coin donation. RSVP by Monday 12 May by calling 8408 4752.
