A shipshape event in the riverport town of Goolwa, an innovative and quirky McLaren Vale winery and South Australia’s oldest farmers’ market were among big winners from the Fleurieu Peninsula at the SA Tourism Awards.
The awards were announced on Friday 8 November at a gala dinner.

Festivals and events category
Winner - South Australian Wooden Boat Festival 2019
The South Australian Wooden Boat Festival is the largest freshwater Wooden Boat Festival in Australia. Celebrating the historic river port of Goolwa and its connection to the River Murray, the festival focuses on the significance of wooden boats in the region throughout history.

Winner - Kangaroo Island Ocean Safari
Kangaroo Island Ocean Safari is a family owned and operated business with a mission to provide visitors to Kangaroo Island with a unique nature-based, marine tourism experience.
