The Aldinga Library will host a workshop on Style & Sustainability with Amanda Curren on Saturday 9 October.

Would you like to reduce your fashion footprint but still look stylish?

Perhaps you find yourself standing in front of an overflowing wardrobe yet still can’t find anything to wear.

Fashion choices can be tricky to navigate but they also have a huge environmental impact.

One way to reduce your fashion footprint and make dressing stylishly easy is to minimise the amount of new clothes you buy and keep your wardrobe simple.

Amanda Curren is an experienced personal stylist and owner of The Style Manifesto.

Her intimate group workshop will show how to choose clothes wisely so that you love wearing them and want to have them on repeat.

It will discuss some of the environmental and social impacts of fashion choices and how to find clothes that best suit your body shape.

Understand how to create an awesome outfit and discover how to build a cost effective and efficient wardrobe – 10 pieces can create 69 outfits.

The workshop is tailored to a female audience, but everyone is welcome.

The session will run from 10.30am to 12.30pm and tickets cost $15. Bookings via Eventbrite are essential as numbers are limited.
