Inman Valley will host an all-day family music festival next Saturday 26 March.
Music in the Valley is a family friendly, home grown arts festival, with a varied range of music groups and workshop activities reflecting a diversity of cultures, musical styles and levels of engagement.
Alma's Hem Amphitheatre is an outdoor music and cultural venue. Its stage is positioned in the bank of a dry creek bed and its Ngarrindjeri heritage is upheld through the continuation of ceremony and community gatherings.
It offers a big horizon, virgin scrub and ample room for families and nature lovers to explore and appreciate the gift of music and talent in the bush.
The festival is based on a vision of inclusive and creative community appealing to a diverse audience of all ages and many nationalities.
The festival is free for under 12s and there is free camping on site.
Artists include The Borderers, Flaming Sambucas, Vonda Last Duo, Manadi Lopa, Me ‘N Me Mates, Nice Verdes and Ella & Sienna.
The Amazing Drumming Monkeys will perform, as well as Ticklish Allsorts, with Owen Love conducting a welcome to country ceremony/didgeridoo performance and a sound healing workshop with Heather Frahn.
There will be food and arts market stalls, licensed beer and wine bars.
