Making music on the south coast

Victor Harbor joins a worldwide celebration of music next Monday 21 June.

A free lunchtime concert with the Jen de Ness Duo will be held at Victa Cinema on Ocean Street to celebrate Make Music Day.

Make Music Day was launched in 1982 in France as the Fête de la Musique; it is now held on the same day in more than 1,000 cities in 120 countries.

Music has been shown to strengthen social connectivity, reduce stress, lower blood pressure, stimulate memory, and is integral to a well-rounded, enjoyable life.

Held at the iconic art deco Victa Cinema, this relaxed and accessible concert features International Singer/Songwriter Jen de Ness on vocals, supported by fellow composer/musician Bill Atkinson on guitar.

Stroll in at lunch time to enjoy an uplifting set of well-loved originals and feel good sing-a-longs. Stay for a song or two or for the whole concert.

You will need to check in - book now via Eventbrite to reserve a seat at this free event, supported by the City of Victor Harbor.
