Tourism operators on the Fleurieu have been invited to a free workshop on how to welcome people of all abilities.
The Accessible Tourism Workshop will be held on Tuesday 14 February at McLaren Vale Function Centre
It has been organised by the Tourism Industry Council South Australia, in partnership with Fleurieu Peninsula Tourism.
They say accessible tourism benefits everyone because more people can enjoy the opportunity to travel, the tourism industry welcomes more visitors and new markets, and visitor experiences are enhanced for all.
The workshop offers the opportunity to learn more about the value and opportunities for accessible tourism, and how to make experiences and premises more inclusive using the Accessible Tourism Accreditation program.
It will run from 9.30am to 12.30pm. More information and booking details can be found on the state tourism website.
