A man has been arrested following an altercation at a Noarlunga Downs home on Monday.
Police received a report of a disturbance at a Noarlunga Downs home about 5.40am on Monday 29 September.
Police will allege that a man attended the home and confronted the occupants over a personal dispute. As he left, he fired a shot off in the air. There were no reports of injuries.
Southern District police subsequently attended a Second Valley home with assistance of STAR Group officers where he was arrested without incident.
A firearm was seized from the property.
A 54-year-old man from the mid north was charged with threats to kill, possessing a firearm with intent to commit an offence, possessing a firearm without a licence and discharging a firearm to injure, annoy or frighten a person. He was refused police bail and appeared in the Christies Beach Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
The incident is not random and the man was known to the people at the home.
