A man has been arrested after he failed to stop for police early this morning.

At 12.20am Tuesday 20 December, patrols spotted a Holden sedan on the Esplanade Aldinga Beach and attempted to stop the vehicle.

The driver failed to stop and patrols called in the assistance of Polair who kept observations on the vehicle as it travelled  towards Willunga on Victor Harbor Road, Communication Road and Old Coach Road.

Polair tracked the vehicle to Maslin Crescent,Maslin Beach where the driver was seen to stop.

Patrols attended and arrested the alleged driver sat in the vehicle.

A 22-year-old man from Sellicks Beach has been charged with due care and attention, failing to stop, no licence, driving an unregistered and uninsured vehicle.

His vehicle was impounded and he will appear before the Christies Beach Magistrates Court on 20 January 2023.
