Man assaulted after break-in

Police are investigating an aggravated break-in and assault in Port Noarlunga early yesterday morning.


About 12.45am on Saturday 23 November, police were called to Murray Road at Port Noarlunga after reports of a break-in and assault.


The victim, a 37-year-old man, states he was inside his home when approximately three people entered through an unlocked front door. He yelled at the suspects to leave when a physical altercation took place resulting in him receiving a minor laceration to his abdomen.


The suspects stole money from the victim and then left the area in an unknown direction. The man attended hospital however he left before being treated.


Crime Scene officers and Southern District Detectives attended the scene.
