Police are investigating an assault at Aldinga Beach this afternoon.

About 12.40pm Monday 10 June, Police and SAAS responded to Hamilton Road after reports a man had been assaulted in his home.

Upon arrival emergency services located a 48-year-old man from the address with a stab wound to his hand.  He has been taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
