A weekend festival of running will take place at Leconfield Wines in McLaren Vale from Friday 9 April to Sunday 11 April.

The McLaren Vale Marathon Festival is South Australia’s premier running event, also incorporating half marathon, 10K and 5K races plus a free kids’ run. 

It is a beautiful run through the vines with the stunning backdrop of the Southern Mount Lofty Ranges. 

Organisers welcome runners and walkers from the local community, across SA, interstate and beyond to enjoy the event along with local wines, produce, hospitality, outstanding beauty and everything else that McLaren Vale and the Fleurieu Coast has to offer.

The event features a half marathon on Sunday with 13K and 6K races and the McLaren Vale Mile on Saturday – suitable for runners and walkers alike. 

With outdoor movies on Saturday evening, presentations and a post-race party on Sunday night and a weekend-long market at the stunning Leconfield & Richard Hamilton Wines estate, this will be a weekend for the whole family.
