City of Onkaparinga Mayor Moira Were has invited the community to take part  in her writing and poetry competition for youth and adults.

Writers SA is running the competition on behalf of Onkaparinga Libraries and the theme is ‘Love Where You Live’.

Prizes will be awarded in three categories: two for ages 18+ - Poetry and Flash Fiction; and Youth, ages 12 to 17.

Entries close at 7pm on Thursday 31 October.
