The McLaren Vale Business and Tourism Association (MVTBA) has announced that nominations for the 2024 MVTBA Awards are officially open until 23 August.

This is a chance to nominate your favourite local businesses that deserve recognition for their outstanding contributions to the community.

For 19 years, the MVTBA Awards have celebrated the quiet achievers in the local community, highlighting businesses that excel in various categories such as trades, home-based business, retail, and tourism.

Nominations are open to all, and businesses can even nominate themselves. The categories cover a broad spectrum of industries, ensuring that every deserving business has a chance to shine.

Businesses receiving five or more nominations will advance to the next stage of the process.

• New Business
• Retail
• Tourism & Experiences
• Environment
• Hospitality
• Professional & Business Services
• Health & Wellbeing
• Employee

The People’s Choice and Business of the Year awards will also be presented with People’s Choice voting taking place in October, giving the community a voice in celebrating their favourite businesses.

The winners will be announced at the awards gala on Friday 1 November, to be held in the function room at the McLaren Vale Motel and Apartments. This event promises to be a memorable evening celebrating the best of McLaren Vale's business community.
