Meditate in nature at Nangawooka

April is stress awareness month and south coast residents have the opportunity to join a free Thursday morning meditation class at Nangawooka Flora Reserve.

Three sessions will be held in the Reserve gazebo on April 10, 17 and 24, from 10am to 11.30am, led by yoga and meditation practitioner John Sellinger.

After meditation, enjoy a soothing cup of herbal tea in the peaceful surroundings.

Organisers say nature, meditation and tea drinking can help people to slow down and be in the moment, reducing stress and improving mental health.

City of Victor Harbor has facilitated these free sessions at Nangawooka Flora Reserve, in Hindmarsh Valley, a two-hectare nature reserve maintained by volunteers.

Chairs and blankets will be provided; take your own cushions and water bottles if required. Find out more and book a session online.
