Arrrlene and Kara are this week’s friendly Pets of the Week. These loving animals are waiting to find their perfect family. If you think that could be you, read more about them below.

Dog of the Week – Arrrlene

This lovely lady is Arrrlene (AID 182290), the pirate pooch at RSPCA South Australia’s Lonsdale shelter.

Arrrlene has earned her pirate nickname due to her one eye and her ability to steal the hearts of everyone she meets.

At six years young, Arrrlene is ready to trade in a life on the seas with a life of luxury in a loving family of her very own.

She has so much love to give and deserves to find her happily ever after.

This gorgeous girl is open to living with another dog resident, but please bring your dog in to meet her first.

Cat of the Week – Kara

This cool cat is Kara (AID 187464) and she has been living at RSPCA South Australia’s Lonsdale shelter since she was rescued from life on the streets.

Kara is a sweet and affectionate girl but also enjoys her independence.

She would thrive in a quiet home with patient pawrents who can give her the time and space she needs to comfortably come out of her shell (it’ll be worth the wait!).

Kara is a foodie, so if you are wanting to speed up the getting to know you process, food is the key!

Kara is open to living with other four-legged friends, but please bring your pet in to meet her first.
