Meet our lovable Pets of the Week. They are looking for their forever homes thanks to the RSPCA Lonsdale Shelter.
Viper and Sylvie are this week’s friendly Pets of the Week. These loving animals are waiting to find their perfect family. If you think that could be you, read more about them below.
Dog of the Week – Viper
How can anyone resist a beautiful face like this?
Two-year-old Viper (AID 186801) is one of many dogs currently living at RSPCA South Australia’s Lonsdale shelter.
This gorgeous girl with a sleek black coat is looking for a home to call her own. She’s a big, strong dog with an even bigger heart and is often referred to as a ‘gentle giant’ – and rightly so!
Viper is an affectionate lady who loves to go on adventures with her favourite people. She can be a little shy around new faces but warms up very quickly. A little quirk about Viper – she loves to sit on people’s feet.
She would be well suited to family and though she gets along with some dogs, she would prefer to not share her forever home with one.

Cat of the Week – Sylvie
This gorgeous girl is Sylvie (AID 187257) – she arrived at RSPCA South Australia’s Lonsdale shelter one month ago.
Sylvie is a sweet older gal with so much love to give. She’s extremely affectionate and will purr contentedly when you give her pats.
She also enjoys headbutting people’s hands, rolling around and kneading.
Though she’s seven years old, she’s still very much young at heart. Sylvie deserves to find a loving home where she can relax and soak up her golden years.
She is open to living with other fur-residents, but a slow introduction is important to ensure a smooth transition.
