Meet the author Léonie Kelsall

National best-selling author Léonie Kelsall will discuss her latest rural fiction release, The Blue Gum Camp, at Victor Harbor library on Friday 19 January.

The rural romance writer originally hails from the Fleurieu Peninsula and considers herself a South Australian country girl through and through.

Her background informs her books, which include The Farm at Peppertree Crossing, The Wattle Seed Inn, The River Gum Cottage and The Willow Tree Wharf.

The Blue Gum Camp follows the fortunes of Charity Farrugia, who is far too sensible to believe she'll find love in a paddock and Lachlan MacKenzie, who is hiding a family secret.

Three sisters, two brothers and a wild weekend at the bachelor and spinsters' ball. What could possibly go wrong….or is there a chance it could all go impossibly, incredibly right?

This free event will run from 6pm to 7pm; register to attend via the library website.
