Meet the RSPCA Pets of the Week: Maximus and WoodyMaximus & Woody are looking for their new forever homes. Can you help?

This week, RSPCA South Australia is excited to introduce two wonderful animals in search of their forever homes at the O’Halloran Hill animal care campus.

Maximus: The Ultimate Best Friend

Maximus, with animal ID 190078, is a sweet and affectionate six-year-old dog who is eagerly waiting to find his perfect match. Maximus has a big heart and an even bigger capacity for love. He thrives on human interaction and has a special fondness for spending time with his favorite people.

Maximus has previously lived with children and would be happy to have some young, furless friends in his new home. However, he would prefer a household free from other dogs. When not being the ultimate best friend, Maximus enjoys learning new skills and savoring delicious treats. For those not ready to commit to adoption, Maximus is also available for foster. Woody: The Loyal and Cheeky Cat

Woody, with animal ID 186412, is a gorgeous one-year-old cat with luxurious fur. He came into RSPCA South Australia’s care as a stray and is now looking for his forever home. Much like his namesake from the beloved Disney character, Woody is a loyal and faithful companion.

Though initially shy around new people, Woody has a cheeky side that shines through once he’s comfortable. He loves to entertain with his playful zoomies and enjoys toys, pats, and being brushed. Woody’s ideal home is a quiet one without young children, allowing him to confidently explore his surroundings. He would appreciate the company of another cat, but it’s essential to let him settle into his new home before making introductions. Both Maximus and Woody are ready to bring joy and companionship to their new families. If you’re interested in adopting or fostering, please visit the RSPCA South Australia’s animal care campus at O’Halloran Hill.
